Morning Yoga・モーニングヨガ

Morning Yoga at SkyCrest Gardens
As the weather permits, we will ask all our children to go our garden area to do our morning yoga exercise, and to experience nature’s beauty: The smell of the air, the feel of the wind, the sound of bird.

​

天気が良い日には、モーニング　ヨガのレッスンをスカイクレストガーデンで行います。ヨガで、楽しみながら柔軟性を高めると共に、子ども達の成長や発育を促します。
また、朝の新鮮な空気やすがすがしい風、色とりどりの花々が醸し出す優しい香りなどを、子ども達自らの五感を存分に使って、全身で楽しんで頂きます。
さらに、スカイクレストを訪れる鳥のさえずりなどにも耳を傾けながら、身近な自然の美しさや素晴らしさを、肌で感じて頂きます。

Japanese Lesson・日本語の授業

In the Japanese lesson, children learn not only speaking and writing skills, but also comprehensive skills such as literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking, using materials designed in-house. We also cover　Haiku(俳句), Shodou(書道), Reading（読み）※and more, to learn about Japanese culture.

※SkyCrest Reading is a chance for children to develop their Japanese ability through reading old stories(ex. 竹取物語 The Bamboo Princess), folktales, nursery rhymes, zodiac, Japanese jokes, tongue twisters, onomatopoeia, and even some famous philosophical sayings. While many of these are originally Japanese stories, many are not, allowing the kids an opportunity to think critically about stories or sayings in Japanese. This is a way for children to get used to critical thinking and respecting other people’s ideas so that as they grow older than are more prepared to take on heavy topics such as philosophy since they are already familiar with many of the famous ideas.

スカイクレストインターナショナルスクールでは、日本語の授業も行います。
授業では、日本語での会話力や、文章を書くスキルを楽しみながら学ぶと共に、読解力、数学的思考力、論理的思考力などを、包括的に学んで頂きます。
日本語のもつ豊かな表現力やリズム感などの習得や、漢字やひらがな等を含めた日本の文化を肌で感じ取って頂く為に、書道の時間なども設けております。

Life & Science・ライフサイエンス

Life ＆ Sciences is SkyCrest’s unique and original program. We believe that life is harmony with nature. And in this program, we provide high-quality education modules in natural science, physical science, and the basic functions of cells and molecules, which are inherent in all living things. This unique program is supervised by doctors who hold Ph.D. degrees in Medicine and Psychology.

Life & Scienceはスカイクレストインターナショナルスクールのオリジナルプログラムです。
生命の素晴らしさや、科学の面白さなどを、さまざまな実験や体験などを通して、楽しく学んで頂きます。
医学博士監修のこのプログラムでは、化学、物理学、生物学といった基礎科学や、医学、工学、農学などの応用化学まで、自然科学のさまざまな分野に関して、最先端の内容を含めて、時には顕微鏡なども駆使しつつ、楽しみながら学んで頂きます。このような体験や学びは、子どもの知的好奇心を伸ばし、日々の生活に役立つば
かりでなく、将来的には、子ども達が世界中のさまざまな分野で活躍する際の、大切な『　礎　』となるものと、考えております。また、このプログラムでは、自然な形で、子供たちに「自分」というものについて考
える機会を提供します。これは、EU圏内のみならず、世界中の学校で多く取り入れられているカリキュラムであります。当校でも、英語圏以外の書籍なども活用しながら行います。このような機会を持たれたお子様は、「自分」について、自然な形で知ることができ、自分だけでなく、仲間や、他の人々を尊重することが出来る

Inquiry-Based Learning
At SkyCrest, we offer an Inquiry-Based Learning Approach as the core of our curriculum, for all age groups at our school. This is fun and one of the best ways to help engage the children’s desire to find out things they wish to know, though their own efforts and initiation. As part of this program, we will go to beaches, farms, aquarium and many other special locations to learn more with joy. The location will vary and depend upon the topics of the month.

探求型学習を通して、主体的に率先して学び、そして考える力を養っていきます。
お子様の知的好奇心を高め、さまざまな体験や遊びなどに熱中・没頭することなどを通して、自分自身の能力を思う存分発揮することが出来るような環境を提供致します。
その為、当校では、このプログラムの一環として、美術館、博物館、牧場、水族館等の様々な場所へ直接出向き、楽しみながら学びを深めることが出来る機会を設けております。

-Outdoor PE Activities・様々な屋内外での活動
We provide lots of fun and enjoyable, outdoor PE activities for our kids. This is because we believe that outside play time is important to make our kids stronger, inside-and-out. At our gardens, children play kick ball, go treasure hunting and more! We also take our kids on many fun adventures to places such as farms, aquariums, and many others! Some of our outdoor PE activities are supervised by medical doctor who hold MD-PhD and our program is structured to build up and improve mathematical performance and cognitive skills, such as spatial awareness abilities, probability measurement and judgment.

スカイクレストインターナショナルスクールでは、屋外でのびのびと、思う存分、身体を動かすことが、お子様の心身の発達に良い影響を与えると考えております。
その為、当校では、楽しく、ワクワクするような、体育を含めた屋外でのさまざまな活動をお子様に提供致しております。直接的に身体を動かすプログラム以外にも、
子ども達のあふれんばかりの才能や表現力を、いかんなく発揮できるように、自由な雰囲気で、楽しく絵を描いたり、さまざまなテーマで、独創的な作品をつくったり、皆で力を合わせて、素敵な音楽を奏でたり、さまざまな芸術の分野に関しても、多くの楽しい学びの機会を提供致します。当校では、単に身体を動かすだけではなく、自由で楽しい雰囲気の中、自然な形で、子ども達が主体的に、判断力や空間認識力等を養えることが出来るように、医学博士監修のもと、これらのプログラムを提供致しております。
