About
Children spend their days immersed in English within a calm and nurturing international environment guided by our team of educators. At SkyCrest, inquiry-based learning, Montessori-inspired practices, and nature-rich experiences are thoughtfully woven into everyday childhood.
Through seasonal exploration, hands-on life science activities, creative expression, and authentic Japanese cultural experiences, children are encouraged to think independently, communicate confidently, and develop a genuine curiosity about the world around them.
With intentionally small group sizes, each child is thoughtfully understood and guided with care and attention to their individual pace of growth. Our educators cultivate a calm and emotionally secure environment where children feel confident to explore, express themselves, and develop genuine independence.
Through English immersion, inquiry-based learning, and nature-rich everyday experiences, children naturally build creativity, confidence, adaptability, and a strong foundation for future international pathways.

I believe childhood should unfold slowly, beautifully, and with intention.
At SkyCrest International School, I have thoughtfully created an environment where children are surrounded by nature, meaningful human connection, and the freedom to explore the world with curiosity and confidence.
My hope is to offer a childhood that feels calm, enriching, and deeply nurturing during the years that matter most.
From the very beginning, SkyCrest was envisioned as more than a school. I wanted to create a place where children could grow with curiosity, confidence, and wonder, while remaining deeply connected to nature, culture, and the people around them.
Together with my husband, MD, PhD, I continue to carefully shape an environment where children are encouraged to think independently, express themselves creatively, and develop a genuine understanding of themselves and the world around them.
From seasonal exploration and hands-on discovery to quiet everyday moments of growth, I believe the most meaningful learning happens naturally — through relationships, conversation, beauty, movement, and wonder.
At SkyCrest, childhood is not rushed. It is respected, celebrated, and thoughtfully nurtured.
